Step 1. Decide Exactly What You Want to Know

An easy way to get started is to formulate in plain language a statement or a question that you want the data to answer. The more detail you add to the statement or question, the more precisely you will be able to define your query.

In this lesson, we want to know the names of individuals in our organization who are class leaders in our Religious Education program.

Our question is the following:
