To be defined as a household, a record must meet these requirements:

Households without children
|
To be defined as a household without children, a record must meet these requirements:

The family has a record (regardless of registration status) in your organization's database.

The member is alive (the Status field in Member Details is not set to Deceased).

The member was not deleted from the database (the value in the Date Closed field is NULL).
Date Closed is a field in a database table. When the user deletes a member or a family, the system enters the date of the deletion in this field.

Additional Requirements and Criteria for Households Without Children
|
Single
|
A record is counted in the Single household category if all of the following are true:

It meets the requirements for Households without children.
-
The family record contains only one member.
-
The member’s role is set to one of the following: Head, Husband, or Wife.
-
The family contains no children. In other words, no member in the family has a role set to any of the following:

Catholic Couples
|
A record is counted in the Catholic Couples category if all of the following are true:

The family record contains a member whose gender is set to Female and whose role is set to one of the following: Head, Husband, or Wife.
-
The family record contains no child members. In other words, no member in the family has a role set to any of the following:

The female member’s role is set to one of the following: Head, Husband, or Wife.

The family record contains no child members. In other words, no member in the family has a role set to any of the following:
