How to Update a Staff Member's Login Credentials for the ParishSOFT Offering to Accounting Integration

From time to time, we may enhance the application integration framework. As a result, you may be required to re-enter the login credentials of your staff to enable them to continue to access ParishSOFT Accounting to perform their work responsibilities. If a staff member has multiple assignments in different organizations enabled for the integration, you will need to re-enter login credentials for each organization he or she needs Accounting login access to.


You must have Organization Admin access rights assigned to your login credentials to perform this task.

 

  1. Click to display the Staff List page.
  2. In the staff list, select the link under the desired staff member’s name to open his or her staff record.
  3. Select the Access Rights tab. Then, click to put the record in edit mode.
  1. Enter the staff member's login credentials. To do this, complete the following:
  1. In the upper-right, select the desired organization/assignment from the Assignment dropdown list.
  2. In the Accounting Integration group on the ParishSOFT Modules tab, clickto open the ParishSOFT Accounting Credentials window:

  1. In the Username field, type the staff member's username. Then, in the Password field, type the member's password.
  2. Click .

The system checks the login credentials you provided. After the system validates and saves the credentials, the staff member has Accounting Integration access rights assigned to the selected organization/assignment. He or she can now make deposit entries into ParishSOFT Accounting.

  1. If this staff member has assignments in multiple organizations enabled for the integration, repeat Step 4a - 4d for each organization/assignment you want to grant Integration Access rights to.
