To understand and use Ministry Scheduler, you should be familiar with the following terms:
● Ministers: any individuals who are scheduled to serve in a ministry. Another word for minister is "volunteer".
● Groups: major, independent entities in your organization. A group has a common major interest, goal, or concern. Examples of groups are Liturgy, Funeral Committee, and Money Counters.
● Ministry: a distinct group within a Group (a subgroup). The ministry shares the main interest of the Group but has a specific focus or concern. Examples of ministries are ushers, servers, and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC).
● Roles: refers to special job assignments or duties. Examples of roles are “Lead”, “Host”, and “Choir Director”.
● Event: an event is an organization's meetings or gatherings (for example, Mass, a worship service, a festival, or a youth board meeting).
