How to Search for a Batch

When the number of batches in your Batch list grows to fill several pages, it can be a challenge to find the batch or batches you want to work with. By applying column filters to the list, you can see only those batches you want to see and hide the rest from view. The filters do not change the batch data. As soon as you remove a filter, the original batch list reappears.

To view a batch on the Batch Management page, you must have, at a minimum, View access rights for Contributions assigned to your login credentials.

Access rights are assigned in the Administration module. Access to this module is restricted to organization administrators only.


Finding a Batch

  1. Click to display the Batch Management page.

  2. If you manage several organizations, select the desired organization from the Organization list.

You see only those batches associated with the funds you are granted access to.

  1. Use one or more of the column header filters to locate the batch or batches you want to work with.

For example, to find all of your closed batches, select Closed from the Status filter:

Column filters are additive, which means that each filter you add further refines your list.

Suppose that now you want to search for closed batches having a minimum cash amount of $25,000. To do this, add this value in the Cash filter column. Using our example, one batch meets these criteria:

Clearing the Search Filters

To clear the search filters, select the contents in each column header's search box and then press Delete on your keyboard.

The original list is restored.
