The Statements report shows all invoice and payment activity for selected customers within your choice of date range. You can run this report periodically (for example, quarterly) and send it to customers so that they can verify amounts charged and paid.
Important
Printed customer statements are designed to fit into a double-window number 9 envelope (3 7/8 by 8 7/8 inches). If you are mailing statements, make sure that you purchase the correct envelope size.
Click
to display the Reports page.
From the Report menu, select Statements.
You must have an active assignment
in the selected organization and at a minimum, View
+ Print permissions for ParishSOFT Tuition to create a Statements
report.
The setup for this report is displayed in the right panel:
To set up the report, complete the following:
To remove a filter, select
it and then press the Delete key
on your keyboard.
On the Filters tab, the two Balance Filters are selected by default. Deselect the checkbox for the filters you do not want to apply:
Outstanding: includes invoices that have a balance due.
Zero: includes invoices that show a zero ($0.00) balance.
In the Report Options group, select the Include a remittance slip checkbox if you want to print a remittance slip with the statement. To see what is included on the remittance slip, go to Example of a Statements Report.
Click the Next link or select the Date tab. Then, do the following:
Specify
the date range for including payment and payment plan details. To
do this, inside the first date field, click
and select a start date from the calendar. Then, inside the second
date field, click
and select the end date in the range from the calendar. Alternatively,
type the desired dates in the fields.
To view details starting
on a specific date with no end date, enter a date in the start date field
and leave the end date field as is. To view details ending on a
specific date with no start date, enter a date in the end date field and
leave the start date field as is.
If you specify no
dates, the report shows all transaction details.
Specify the statement period by selecting a month and year. Only statements with a payment scheduled during the selected month and year are included in the report.
Click the Next link or select the Customers tab. Then, do one of following:
Select the View report for all customers option.
Select the View report for selected customers option. Then, from the grid, select the desired customers.
Click .
The report opens in the Report Viewer where you can view, save, and print the report. For details, go to About the Report Viewer.
