The table below lists and describes the fields used to configure an event.

Description |
Name |
Type the name of the event. If you want to show the time of the event, include the time as part of the name of the event when you type it in the Name field (for example, type “2nd Sunday Mass Meeting 11am”). |
Event Time |
Do one of the following: ● Check None if no time is assigned to the event. ● Deselect the None checkbox if the event has a scheduled time, and then type the hour and minutes or select each field and then use the arrow buttons to set the time. To change the time of day, select AM and then type PM or use the arrow buttons to change the time of day to PM. If there is no established time for the event, select the Check For No-Time Event checkbox. |
Special Event |
Select the checkbox if the event is considered a "special" event. When you designate an event as a “special
event”, the scheduler considers only those ministers who indicate
that they are available to serve at special events. See How
to View and Change a Member's Ministry Preferences to see
how a minister’s availability to serve at special events is set.

Sunday Obligation Mass |
Select the checkbox to indicate that the event fulfills a minister's Sunday Mass obligation. If the box is checked, the scheduler will not automatically schedule any one minister in more than one Sunday obligation event occurring in the same weekend (Saturday and Sunday). |
Event Occurrence |
● One Time Event: select the checkbox to indicate the event occurs only once. ● Recurring Event: select the checkbox to indicate the event occurs repeatedly. |
Date Range |
Specify the starting and ending dates
for the event. Either type a date in the field or click the calendar
icon ● If the event has no end date, select No End Date. ● If the event ends after a certain period, type the number of times the event occurs in the End After field. ● If
the event ends by a certain date, type the date or click the calendar
icon
Weekly/Monthly: select the Weekly or Monthly option and then specify the frequency details. |

Select Weekly or Monthly and then specify the frequency details: ● Recur every __ week(s) on: in the space provided, type the number of times the event occurs. For example, if the event occurs every week, type 1. If the event occurs, twice a month, type 2 (to indicate the event occurs every 2 weeks). ● Select the checkboxes for the days of the week the event occurs on. |
