If you are a first time user, your first task is to set up ParishSOFT Tuition to make it ready for creating invoices. This topic walks you through the tasks required to set up the application for first-time use.
Understanding and Using the Flowchart Diagram to Set Up ParishSOFT Tuition
The flowchart diagram below graphically depicts the tasks in the setup process and enables you to visualize the entire workflow from beginning to end.
The START symbol marks the beginning of the process. In the flowchart below, begin the setup by starting at this symbol.
Follow the directional arrows (
) to the shapes. The flowchart uses special shapes to represent different types of actions or steps in the process.
Each of the decision shapes contains a question. Your answer to the question (Yes or No) determines which directional arrow to follow. The rectangular shapes
contain a task or action you should take. The task inside of the rectangle is a clickable link to another topic in the Help. Click the link to go directly to a topic and follow the step-by-step instructions to complete the task.
After you complete the task, a link from the topic back to the diagram keeps you on the right path to the goal of completing an initial setup. So, when you are done with a task, click the link <Back to setup diagram> to return to the flowchart diagram. Then, follow the arrow to the next question or task in the diagram. Continue in this manner until you reach the DONE symbol.
You will probably need to refine the setup until it contains the right information to enable you to get started creating your invoices. For example, you will probably need to repeat the Add an invoice item task several times to add invoice items for each product and service you will bill customers for.
